1.0 Use of the Service by Wooly and our Customers
1.1 The Wooly Service
Wooly provides software, data, and services to help customers and companies (“Customers”) build stronger, more meaningful relationships. Our customers, generally brands that people purchase from every day, use Wooly to treat their customers or end users (“End Users”) more as humans and less like numeric identifiers meant for thoughtless, automated advertising and emails.
For example, the combination of software, data, and services within Wooly can help a brand match a tweet or Facebook post to an End User for better, more timely service or reward a brand’s ambassadors who engage socially on a regular basis.
Data, including some Personal Information, is added to the service when (1) Site visitors and Service users provide their contact information, (2) Service users provide their data to use the Service, and (3) Wooly processes data from its partners and social networks.

We have no relationship with End Users who provide Personal Information to our Customers. As such, Customers control and are responsible for correcting, deleting and updating any Personal Information that they collect from the End Users. This information is never shared across Customers or sold to third parties.
Customers are required to obtain any necessary consents or authorizations from End Users with regard to any Personal Information they collect and transfer to Wooly Additionally, Customers agree not to provide Wooly with Sensitive Information belonging to End Users, including personal identifiers (Social Security numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers), certain restricted demographic details (race, ethnicity, religion), certain financial data (credit or debit card numbers, personal financial account info), and medical, physical or mental health information.
In addition to the information provided by directly by Customers or indirectly through Customers’ use of the Service, Wooly processes data available from its partners, social networks, and other public sources. To do this we may transfer Personal Information to companies that help us provide our Service. Any transfers are covered by the service agreements with our customers and data protection agreements with our partners.
In connection with the Service, Wooly is a data processor and the Customer is the data controller. Wooly recognizes a person’s right to access, review, edit and restrict their Personal Information, and will provide Customers with reasonable assistance to fulfill any requests from End Users to access, review, edit or restrict their Personal Information. Any requests from End Users to access, review, edit or restrict their Personal Information should be sent directly to the Customer. Any requests sent directly to Wooly will be promptly referred to the Customer.
2.0 What information do we collect?
2.1 Customers of the Site and Service
We collect information from you when you sign up on our site, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. During account sign up on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: full name, e-mail address, phone number and connect with social media accounts. We do not store any billing information on our servers as we utilize our payment gateway’s PCI DSS Compliant system to manage and store all billing information needed for our services.
2.2 Customers’ Information
We receive data (“Provided Information”) from our Customers to help them better serve their End Users. This data may include Personal Information, including email, address, phone number, and purchase history. We recognize the high importance for the security of this data. It is not sold or shared. Additionally, Wooly requires that Customers have consent to access and use the Provided Information before processing.
Wooly also enables Customers to collect and process publicly-available social media information pertaining to End Users. This data may include social profiles, profile photos, professional information, and personal information such as basic demographic data like age, gender, and location.
3.0 How do we use your information?
3.1 Customer Information
We utilize this data for the performance of the contract we have with you and for the reports, communication, and other required information that we must share with those who utilize our site and services. We do not sell, share or disclose Customer data except as provided herein.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To helps us to better respond to your individual needs while using our services.
To improve our website
To improve customer service and more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
To send periodic emails with information and updates pertaining to your account, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related service information, etc.
Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email that requires a subscription.
We generally retain your information as long as necessary for the performance of the services and to comply with our legal obligations.
3.2 End User Information
Wooly processes data on behalf of our Customers to help them understand, serve, and delight their End Users. This data is used within a contact relationship management solution. Wooly does not share, sell, or transfer this data. Additionally, Wooly requires that the Customers have consent to collect and process the data.
Information provided by or obtained at the request of a Customer will be retained until the shorter of (1) as long as necessary to provide the service to Customers, or (2) the End User decides to restrict, edit or remove information from the Customer’s systems and the Customer requests that Wooly edit, restrict or remove that data. End Users have the right to object to the processing of their Personal Data at any time, and such requests should be made directly to the Customer. If Wooly receives such a request directly from an End User, we will address it in a timely manner and pass along to the Customer to ensure fulfillment of the request if appropriate

5.0 How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you setup your account or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted as it is sent to our payment gateway’s secure system only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
During every transaction, system user’s private information (billing account numbers, social security numbers, etc.) will not be kept on our servers as our payment gateway manages that sensitive information. We only guarantee that the information will be transferred to the payment gateway via Secure Socket Layer.
Wooly may obtain IP addresses from users. This information is used to monitor and prevent fraud, anonymously estimate demographic information, and diagnose problems.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties without your consent. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses
